The Importance of Completing a Gift Aid Form
If you are able to claim Gift Aid, completing a Gift Aid declaration is one of the simplest ways you can support the South Devon Herd Book Society — at no extra cost to you.
Gift Aid allows the Society to reclaim an additional 25p for every £1 you pay in membership subscriptions or donations, directly from HMRC. This extra income helps strengthen the Society’s finances and supports a wide range of activities, including breed promotion, events, youth involvement, communications, and ongoing development work.
By completing a Gift Aid form, you are helping to ensure the Society can continue to invest in the future of the South Devon breed, while making the most of funds already contributed by members. Every declaration, no matter how small it may seem, makes a real difference when added together.
How to complete the Gift Aid form
If you are a UK taxpayer and eligible to claim Gift Aid, please take a moment to complete the Gift Aid declaration form and return it to the Society. Forms can be completed alongside your membership renewal or downloaded from the website.
