Since its inception in 2010 this event has proven to be a focal point for the breed, giving the opportunity for involvement at shows around the country.
Of course, the Royal Cornwall is one of the best supported shows for South Devons – and this year we see the number of entries swell to 67! It will be a great spectacle to watch, and there will be opportunities for socialising as well as competing over the three days.

The main schedule is as follows:

Thursday 6th June

9am – South Devon class judging
Awards in the South Devon marquee to be presented by the President at 4 pm with tea/cake provided by regional members

Friday 7th June

Interbreed judging
5.30/6pm – Barbecue hosted by the Truro South Devon Cattle Breeders Club at the South Devon marquee at 6 pm

Saturday 8th June

11am – Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Young Handler Competition

***
Because of a last minute change of plans for the show this year due to bluetongue incidences in the south-east of England, there has not been the time to organise and raise all the sponsorship required to hold a full list of events at the National. We are, however, very grateful to Laity Farms for providing show rosettes, to Lloyd & Whyte for sponsoring the Young Handler Competition, and to Brewin Dolphin our primary business sponsor.
